## Everyone sees the same moment

Pausing, seeking, looping and skipping happen for everyone, and each player's volume is their own.
A player whose picture falls behind is brought back to the room by itself. **Reload**, the circular
arrow on the panel, reloads only that player's picture when something looks wrong.

## Joining and leaving

A player who joins lands where the room is, paused if the room is paused, with the same queue, lock
and loop setting. When the player who started the video leaves, it keeps playing, and anyone allowed
to control it carries on from there.

## When a video will not play

| The panel says | What to do |
|---|---|
| Turn on Allow Untrusted URLs in VRChat's settings to play this link | The link's site is not one VRChat trusts. Each player turns that setting on, or use a YouTube, Twitch or Vimeo link |
| That link is not a video VRChat can play | Check that the link opens a video. The player moves on to the next entry |
| Too many videos loading at once, retrying | Wait a moment: VRChat lets each player load a new link every few seconds |
| The video failed to play, skipping it | Try the link again later, or another one |
| Locked: only the instance owner and moderators can change the video | Ask someone with control, or the instance owner, to unlock it |

## YouTube and live streams

The same YouTube link plays on PC and Quest. VRChat picks the stream, which for YouTube is usually
360p; a direct `.mp4` link plays at whatever quality the file has.

Live streams play live for everyone. They cannot be paused or seeked, and the panel shows LIVE
instead of a clock.

A pasted link shows as `YouTube · dQw4w9WgXcQ`, `Twitch · channel` or the link's host and path,
because a world cannot read a video's title. Playlist entries show the titles you give them, or the
ones **Fetch YouTube titles** filled in.
